The Physiologus, an early Christian writing in Greek (ca. 200 A.D.), consists of cameo stories about the nature of animals, with a religious interpretation of their peculiarities. It was widespread during the Middle Ages in various languages. The study of more than forty manuscripts of the Armenian Physiologus reveals its main recension (ms M2101 and others), translated during the first half of the fifth century, and two subsequent recensions. The translation is close to the eleventh century Greek Codex Mosquensis (Synodal Library 432). The Physiologus had widespread influence in both eastern and western writings, and the Armenian version is one of the oldest and most faithful witnesses. In addition, the "revised diplomatic edition" of the parallel Greek and Armenian texts based on the mentioned manuscripts, regards variant readings which bring the two texts close to each other, helping to reconstruct their archetype.

Most oil and gas wells are drilled using rotational drilling and a few with percussive drilling. Some technological advances have allowed some to combine both methods. RED is a smart way of combining both rotational and oscillatory motion to aid the drilling process and increase the rate of penetration. Analytical analysis of the stresses which the chamber would be subjected to were calculated and a numerical analysis was carried out to validate the results gotten in the analytical analyses. Finally, conclusions and recommendations for further work are suggested.

Based on numerous studies carried out recently concerning error correction, it has been argued that providing feedback is necessary for coming up with optimal results. Synchronous CMC provides an ideal context for investigating the outcomes from corrective feedback. It helps students to learn the complex forms due to the visual saliency of these forms during written interaction, the amount of processing time afforded by synchronous chat, and the enduring nature of the turns. Despite the advantages of synchronous CMC for facilitating the learning of the complex forms, research on learning outcomes following computer-mediated corrective feedback is still limited. Accordingly, the present study investigates the impact of two types of computer-mediated corrective feedback (recast and metalinguistic) on the development of learners L2 grammar knowledge. To fulfil the purpose of the study, 45 beginner learners of English were randomly divided into two experimental groups and one control group. The analyses of results showed that the experimental groups who received computer-mediated corrective feedback outperformed the control group who did not receive any feedback.
